In April 2014, Edgar Bradley pleaded guilty to the charge of illegally practising dentistry, contrary to Section 38 (1) and (2) of the Dentists Act 1984. On 26 June 2015, Mr Bradley again pleaded guilty to the offence of illegally practising dentistry at Kingston Upon Hull Magistrates Court.
Mr Bradley illegally offered dentistry services, despite never being registered with the GDC or having appropriate training. The charges related to offences that took place between 1 February and 5 March 2015 at Beverley Grange Nursing Home, Lockwood Road, Beverley, East Yorkshire, HU17 9GQ.
He was fined a total of £400 (£200 in relation to each charge), ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and full costs to the GDC of £2182.60.
In sentencing, the district judge commented: “it beggars belief that when he was before the courts so recently that he would repeat his performance again.”
