Dentists can access free resources from Public Health England to help make parents more aware of how to look after their children's teeth.
There are a limited number of 'Top tips for teeth' toolkits available, so please place your order as soon as possible to ensure your dental practice receives a kit (form password is: ttft). Please note that only one kit per dental practice will be available to ensure fair distribution across the country.
Digital resources are available for you to use in your dental practice, including TV screensavers and a short video. There is also a social media toolkit that contains images and suggested post copy for you to share. These resources can be found on the Public Health England Campaign Resource Centre.
This is part of PHE's updated Change4Life campaign, which includes a tip for healthy eating for children, encouraging parents to choose low calorie snacks and cutting down on sugary foods and drinks.
We also have top tips for your patients on sugar and children's oral health.
We have been leading on calls for radical action to lower the nation's sugar intake, with measures ranging from lowering the recommended daily allowance, through to action on marketing, labelling, and sales taxes, to prevent tooth decay.
Campaigning for better oral health
